Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Commercial Assistant to support our commercial team in managing key retail accounts. This foundational role is central to the smooth operation of our commercial activities, from managing product data to coordinating cross-functional initiatives. Working closely with marketing, finance, and operations, you will provide critical support that enables the team to deliver on ambitious growth plans.


Key Responsibilities

Retailer Account Management

  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including new item setup and maintenance across retailers (NLFs, STIBO, retailer portals).

  • Manage promotional submissions and track performance.

  • Monitor deadlines for item submissions, promotional windows, and reporting requirements, proactively alerting relevant teams.

  • Upload and maintain accurate product data (pricing, images, descriptions, pack sizes, compliance).

  • Serve as a key point of contact for select retail accounts across various brands.

  • Develop expertise in retailer portals and attend retailer meetings as required.

Trade Marketing

  • Optimize content across retailer websites, ensuring product pages align with brand guidelines via Syndigo and other platforms.

  • Support visual merchandising (VM) and point-of-sale (POS) submissions, ensuring timely delivery of compliant assets.

  • Brief and catalogue retailer content needs based on global master assets.

  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for content, copy, or samples.

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Act as liaison between Sales and Finance, ensuring consistent, accurate data across teams.

  • Maintain commercial workbooks, including promotional calendars, contact lists, pricing, and distribution data.

  • Support AP/AR reconciliation and follow-ups with Finance.

  • Verify promotional spend and chargebacks against agreed JBPs.

  • Keep up-to-date records of contracts, terms, and allowances.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Pull weekly sales data from retailer portals and maintain EPOS reports by SKU and retailer.

  • Distribute accurate reports, highlighting key trends to support forecasting and planning.

  • Actively participate in team meetings and strategy sessions, contributing insights and supporting collaborative initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in a commercial, administrative, or account management support role (beauty, personal care, or consumer goods industry preferred).

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Proficiency in managing and updating data in portals and databases.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
