- We are recruiting on behalf of one of the world’s leading professional haircare brands, renowned for innovation, education, and excellence. Our client is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team across the South West region.
- This is a pivotal role for a commercially driven leader with a deep understanding of the hair industry and a proven background in managing field-based sales teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, performance, and brand building, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of field-based Sales Representatives to exceed regional sales targets and KPIs
- Drive execution of brand strategy across salons, distributors, and professional partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and support business growth at a local level
- Monitor and analyse regional performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with national and regional leadership teams to ensure alignment on commercial goals and market initiatives
- Support education and marketing teams to deliver impactful events, launches, and in-salon activations
- Ensure team adherence to brand standards and compliance in all customer interactions
- Act as a brand ambassador at regional and national events, trade shows, and team conferences
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the hair industry, ideally within professional sales or account management
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team of sales representatives or field-based staff
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sales performance and customer engagement
- A passion for professional hair, health, and wellness
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- Highly organised, analytical, and results-focused
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly throughout the South West region
