Overview: Super exciting to be working with this UK-based direct-to-consumer personal-care brand who are going through a HUGE growth phase, benefiting from strong market tailwinds, outstanding consumer reviews, and a tiered product approach. They have now scaled into a multi 7-figure brand looking for their first hire.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a dynamic organic social media strategy with a focus on TikTok and Instagram.
• Create, film, edit, and design engaging, trend-driven content tailored for social channels.
• Identify, source, and manage relationships with influencers and content creators.
• Stay ahead of social media trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand culturally relevant.
• Act as the face of the brand in content or manage talent who can do so authentically.
• Collaborate closely with the founder to ensure alignment with brand values and business goals.
• Take full ownership of content creation and execution, working hands-on in a fast-moving startup environment.
You Are:
• Proven content creation expertise, including filming, editing, and design for TikTok and Instagram.
• Demonstrable experience building and executing successful organic social media strategies.
• Experience working with influencers and sourcing UGC creators.
• Deep understanding of social media trends and ability to spot emerging ones early.
• Comfortable on camera or managing on-camera talent.
• Background in a founder-led, fast-growing e-commerce or personal care/beauty brand preferred.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a resource-constrained startup environment.
• Hands-on approach with both strategic planning and day-to-day content production.
• Demonstrated success building a personal social following or brand, ideally with an active TikTok presence.
• Experience in brands that have scaled from D2C to retail is a strong plus
