Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Education Manager to oversee the execution of professional education programs across North America. This role is ideal for a proven people leader with a cosmetology background, strong educator management experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of a network of independent contract educators, including scheduling, communications, and performance tracking.
Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing team of educators to deliver consistent, impactful education experiences.
Serve as the main point of contact and support for the educator team, ensuring alignment with brand standards and messaging.
Collaborate with the Associate Director of Professional Education to implement training initiatives and content.
Coordinate logistics for in-salon trainings, distributor events, retail education, and industry trade shows.
Monitor educator performance, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to drive excellence.
Partner closely with Sales and Education leadership to support regional needs and event staffing requirements.
Track training activity, providing regular reports and insights to internal stakeholders.
Support the execution of virtual education through scheduling, educator preparation, and technical assistance.
Candidate Profile:
Active cosmetology license required.
5+ years of experience in professional beauty education, with demonstrated success managing contract educator teams.
Strong knowledge of salon, distributor, and stylist education environments.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to lead and motivate remote teams.
Experience managing logistics for trainings, events, and large-scale activations.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in scheduling platforms, digital learning tools, and virtual training software.
Willingness to travel as needed across North America.
