Overview
We are seeking a Counter Supervisor to support the leadership and performance of a luxury beauty counter within a prestigious retail environment.
Working closely with the Business Counter Manager, this role will help ensure the counter delivers exceptional client experiences, strong commercial performance, and consistently high brand standards.
As a senior presence on the counter, the successful candidate will lead by example through expert product knowledge, artistry services, and elevated client service, while helping motivate the team and support the daily running of the business.
This position is ideal for an experienced Senior Beauty Advisor or Supervisor looking to take the next step within luxury beauty retail.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Counter Performance
• Support the Counter Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s.
• Identify opportunities to maximise sales through expert consultation and personalised service.
• Encourage repeat business by building strong client relationships.
• Support daily counter operations and maintain strong retail standards.
Deliver Exceptional Client Experience
• Provide tailored consultations and product recommendations.
• Build a loyal client base through exceptional service and relationship building.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and beauty services.
• Create memorable in-store experiences that position the counter as a destination for premium beauty.
Lead by Example
• Act as a role model for service, professionalism, and product expertise.
• Support the Counter Manager in motivating and coaching the team.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture focused on delivering outstanding results.
Maintain Brand & Retail Standards
• Ensure the counter is always presented to the highest visual merchandising and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and communicate the brand’s philosophy and values.
• Support in-store activations, product launches, and promotional events.
Qualifications
• Experience within luxury beauty, prestige cosmetics, or premium retail environments.
• Previous experience as a Senior Beauty Advisor, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager.
• Passion for beauty, artistry, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to sales performance.
• Confident supporting and motivating a team in a retail environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
