Overview

Seeking an experienced Field Sales Account Executive to lead retail sales and education initiatives for a luxury clean beauty brand within a major national cosmetics retailer across Los Angeles. This role blends sales leadership, education delivery, retail partnership management, and team development to drive growth and brand presence in store.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Strategy

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets at assigned retail locations.
  • Implement field education and sales strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage travel and entertainment budget with accurate reporting.

Retail Partnership

  • Act as primary liaison with store management to build strong retail relationships.
  • Strategically manage retailer scheduling systems to maximize brand visibility.

Event & Education Leadership

  • Plan and execute in‑store events and elevated brand experiences.
  • Lead engaging training sessions, demonstrations, and masterclasses.

Team Development

  • Support recruiting, training, and coaching of high‑performing sales teams.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and performance feedback to freelance team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in an account executive or similar field sales role within a major beauty retailer.
  • Hands‑on artistry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced environments with a solution‑oriented mindset.

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and travel regularly, including overnight.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking in retail environments.
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Valid state ID and driver’s license needed for travel.
