Overview

We are seeking a Senior Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to own and lead the brand's organic social media and content marketing strategy across all major platforms.

This is a highly visible leadership role sitting at the intersection of brand, culture, storytelling, and performance. The successful candidate will define content strategy, establish creative standards, lead social content execution, and play a pivotal role in shaping how the brand engages with its community.

Reporting into senior leadership, this individual will be responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, community growth, and long-term customer loyalty through best-in-class social and content marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Social & Content Strategy Leadership

Own and lead the end-to-end organic social media and content marketing strategy across all key platforms.

Develop and evolve the brand's content framework across education, storytelling, culture, community, and conversion.

Act as guardian of brand voice, tone, and messaging across all social channels and customer touchpoints.

Translate business objectives, product launches, and cultural moments into compelling social and content strategies.

Proactively manage brand reputation, moderation standards, and social communication frameworks.

Campaign Development & Execution

Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of social-first campaigns, launches, and key brand moments.

Develop culturally relevant content narratives that support both brand and commercial objectives.

Own campaign delivery from initial concept through to performance analysis and optimisation.

Continuously refine campaigns based on audience behaviour, engagement metrics, and platform performance.

Content Direction & Quality Control

Provide creative direction across short-form video, static content, live content, and emerging content formats.

Lead and mentor content creators and social team members to ensure consistently high-quality execution.

Maintain excellence in visual identity, storytelling standards, and content performance across all channels.

Support content capture and production where required to ensure the highest creative output.

Community & Brand Engagement

Own community engagement strategy and customer interaction standards across all social platforms.

Ensure all community management activity reflects brand values, tone of voice, and customer experience standards.

Monitor customer sentiment, feedback, and cultural trends to inform content and brand strategy.

Build authentic relationships with audiences that strengthen trust, loyalty, and advocacy.

Influencer & Creator Strategy

Lead organic influencer and creator partnerships from identification and briefing through execution and analysis.

Provide clear creative direction to creators to ensure alignment with brand positioning and campaign objectives.

Collaborate with wider marketing functions to maximise amplification of key campaigns and brand narratives.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

Own social media KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance evaluation.

Translate performance insights into actionable strategic and creative recommendations.

Conduct competitor analysis, trend monitoring, and cultural research to identify opportunities for growth.

Present performance updates, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Governance

Lead, mentor, and develop the social media and content team.

Establish best-practice processes, workflows, playbooks, and content governance frameworks.

Drive consistency, accountability, and excellence across all social and content activities as the business scales.

Experience

Minimum 5+ years' experience within Social Media, Content Marketing, or Brand Marketing roles, ideally within beauty, lifestyle, fashion, consumer goods, or high-growth e-commerce brands.

Proven success developing and leading organic social media strategies that have delivered measurable business impact.

Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign development, creative storytelling, and content leadership.

Experience working closely with founders, leadership teams, or senior stakeholders is highly desirable.

Technical & Creative Skills

Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning, audience growth, and community building.

Excellent creative judgement with the ability to develop compelling brand narratives and content concepts.

Strong copywriting and storytelling capabilities.

Experience using content creation and editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar platforms.

Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret performance data and inform strategy.
