Refyne are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and purpose-driven beauty brand. Our client is a team of beauty lovers who obsess about hair developing hair-care products and styling tools built with powerful ingredients and innovative technologies. 

Our client is now seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Sales Team Lead to oversee key retail customer accounts, including major specialty beauty retailers in North America. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with strong account leadership skills, a track record in beauty or retail, and the ability to take full ownership of a channel P&L while driving growth through strategic partnerships and new distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and own the full customer account strategy (short- and long-term) to drive joint business plans, revenue, and profit growth.
Lead joint business planning, assortment strategy, and promotional calendars in partnership with Trade, Marketing & Finance.
Negotiate and maintain strong retailer partnerships, delivering win/win business solutions and ensuring top-tier execution.
Manage forecasting, distribution, merchandising and profitability to ensure robust account performance and channel health.
Present strategic sales plans at monthly and quarterly business reviews, utilising actionable insights from data analysis.
Partner cross-functionally with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams to maximise execution and operational efficiency.
Lead promotional planning, events and sell-in strategies to capitalise on sales opportunities and market presence.
Monitor category performance and competitive trends, identify strategic opportunities for growth and recommend responsive strategies.
Build and maintain tools, reporting systems and processes that enhance forecasting, tracking and decision-making.
Support special projects and provide ad-hoc analysis to influence leadership decision-making.

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree required.
6+ years of sales experience, ideally within beauty, retail or consumer goods channels.
Proven track-record working with major specialty beauty retailers in the U.S. or North America.
Deep commercial and financial acumen, with full channel P&L ownership responsibility.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ability to build complex models and manage detailed reporting.
Strong data literacy and experience utilising Nielsen or equivalent market data to inform strategy and action.
Creative problem solver, hands-on self-starter who thrives in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead by example and embody the brand’s values.
Entrepreneurial mindset, flexible and resilient in the face of ambiguity.
