Our client is a vibrant, confident beauty organisation seeking an ambitious and strategic Regional Sales Manager – West Coast to lead field sales and distributor partnerships across the professional salon channel in the Western U.S. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales leader experienced in the salon industry, distributor management, and field team leadership, who thrives on driving growth, engagement and brand experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and grow sales performance across the West Coast region, driving sustainable revenue through distributor, salon and field partnerships.
Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with national brand goals focusing on new salon‑door acquisition, in‑salon share growth and successful product launches.
Lead, motivate and mentor a high‑performing team of territory brand managers and field education ambassadors to deliver outstanding in‑market results.
Monitor key performance indicators (sales growth, field visits, education classes, salon door openings, promotional ROI) and drive accountability, coaching and continuous improvement.
Cultivate strong relationships with distributor sales leadership and salon owners, influencing programs and initiatives that foster mutual growth and brand loyalty.
Partner with the education team to ensure flawless in‑salon trainings, product knowledge delivery and brand messaging that resonate with stylists and clients.
Execute distributor and salon promotions, VIP events and activations that build brand excitement, engagement and traction in the field.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to elevate field team performance and capabilities, including hosting impactful regional meetings to align goals, share wins and amplify brand spirit.
Gather market intelligence and feedback from the field to inform strategy, identify opportunities and refine execution.
Manage regional budgets, forecasts and reporting; ensure profitability and efficient resource allocation.
Analyse sales data and trends to deliver actionable insights to leadership and optimise sales execution and business management.
Partner cross‑functionally with marketing, operations and education teams to ensure best‑in‑class execution of brand strategy in the field.
Candidate Profile:
7+ years of field sales experience in the professional beauty, salon or CPG industries.
Minimum 3 years managing a multi‑state sales team or territory, preferably within the salon channel.
Demonstrated success in distributor management and regional sales execution, with strong understanding of salon business dynamics and field KPIs.
Experience collaborating with education and marketing teams to deliver effective in‑field activations and robust brand experiences.
Excellent presentation, communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at both distributor and salon levels.
Results‑oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, organisational and coaching abilities.
Proficiency in CRM and sales‑reporting tools for forecasting, analysis and team performance tracking.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
