About Our Client
Our client is a leading beauty brand known for its innovative, high performance products. As they continue to grow their product portfolio, they're looking for a Senior Product Development Manager to lead the next stage of their NPD pipeline.
The Opportunity
The Senior Product Development Manager will own the end to end product development process, from concept and formulation through to launch, working cross functionally with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to bring new products to market on time and on brief.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end to end NPD process, from concept development through formulation, testing, and launch
- Manage relationships with formulators, manufacturers, and packaging suppliers
- Partner with Marketing and Brand to align product development with brand strategy and market opportunities
- Oversee product timelines, ensuring on time delivery across all launch milestones
- Manage claims, compliance, and regulatory requirements throughout development
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify new product opportunities
- Present product development updates and recommendations to senior leadership
- Mentor and support junior product development team members
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of experience in product development within beauty, personal care, or CPG
- Strong understanding of formulation, packaging, and manufacturing processes
- Experience managing cross functional stakeholders and external suppliers
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
