Overview

We are seeking a Customer Demand Planner to join a high-performing supply chain team, reporting into the Demand Planning Manager.

This is a critical role responsible for driving forecast accuracy, supporting supply chain efficiency, and enabling commercial success through data-led decision making. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams to align demand plans, identify risks and opportunities, and continuously improve forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

Develop, maintain and continuously improve demand forecasting models
Analyse historical sales data, market trends and promotional activity to inform forecasts
Leverage POS data and wider sales trends to support accurate demand planning

S&OP & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Actively contribute to the S&OP process, aligning demand plans across functions
Partner closely with Sales and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on forecasts
Collaborate with Finance and Marketing to incorporate business insights into planning

Performance & Reporting

Track and report on forecast accuracy and key demand KPIs
Identify root causes of forecast variance and implement corrective actions
Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes

Operational Support

Assist with ongoing planning activities within a fast-moving distribution environment
Support ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
 

Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or sales analytics
Experience working within FMCG, beauty, or a related consumer goods environment is advantageous
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Understanding of demand planning tools and forecasting methodologies
