About Our Client
Our client is an aspirational beauty brand known for pushing boundaries in the market. As their product portfolio grows, they're looking for a Product Development Assistant to support the team in delivering innovative, best in class products from concept through to launch.
The Opportunity
The Product Development Assistant will play a key role supporting the Product Development team, coordinating samples, testing, supplier communication and project administration to keep projects organised and on track. In addition to core NPD, the role also supports shade extensions, accessories, secondary packaging and sample developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of NPD and EPD projects, ensuring actions, samples, costings and timelines meet launch targets
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, delivering clear briefs and escalating risks where needed
- Coordinate supplier communication, sample shipments, artwork and project updates
- Support product testing across key markets, coordinating MUAs, testers and models
- Use customer feedback and community insights to inform product development and shade creation
- Research product, consumer and market trends to contribute to concept development
Ideal Background
- 1 to 2 years of experience within Product Development preferable
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Clear communication and strong relationship building skills across suppliers and internal teams
- Proactive, self motivated and solutions focused approach
- Passion for beauty, innovation and product development
